Delete your account in the app or request deletion by email, even if you no longer have the app installed.
Open ShareRides and go to Account → Settings → Delete my account. Confirm twice to permanently delete the account.
You must finish or cancel any active trip first. Pending ride requests and bookings are cancelled during deletion.
Email info@sharerides.in with the subject “Delete my ShareRides account”. Include the mobile number used for the account. You may also write to in.sharerides@gmail.com.
We will verify that the account belongs to you. Never send us your OTP or boarding PIN. We complete verified requests within 30 days.
We delete your sign-in account, profile, emergency contacts, notification tokens, saved vehicles, wallet record, encrypted payout KYC secrets, and uploaded profile and vehicle files. Data used only for open requests and bookings is removed or cancelled.
We may retain the minimum trip, booking, settlement, verification, safety, or support record required for an active dispute, fraud prevention, a police or court request, or tax and legal compliance. We keep it only for the period required by law or until the matter is resolved.
Deletion cannot be undone. You will be signed out and will need to create a new account if you use ShareRides again. Records retained for legal reasons are not used for marketing.
