Is ShareRides a taxi service?
No. ShareRides is car pooling — private car owners share empty seats on trips they are already taking. It is not on-demand ride hailing.

How do I book a seat?
Search your route, pick a ride, and sign in to request seats. The driver confirms before you travel.
How do payments work?
The first release focuses on discovery and booking requests. In-app payments are not included yet unless we add them later.
Are drivers verified?
A captain cannot publish a live ride until the licence, registration, and vehicle photos have been reviewed and the captain is verified.
Who operates ShareRides?
ShareRides will operate as a product of DailyJobs OPC Private Limited. Contact info@sharerides.in or in.sharerides@gmail.com.
Does ShareRides insure the trip?
No. The captain must carry compulsory third-party insurance under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. ShareRides does not issue an insurance policy.
