ShareRides connects people going the same way. Passengers book empty seats. Verified captains publish the rides they are already making.
Sign in with your mobile number and OTP. Add your name and gender once.
On Book a ride, enter pickup, destination, date and seats. Live rides show the car, time and seat price.
Some rides confirm at once. Others need the captain to accept. The trip then appears in My Rides with your PIN and chat.
Check the captain and car number, then tell your 4-digit PIN. Your family can follow the car on a live link.
Pay the captain the You pay amount in cash after drop, then tap Complete and rate the ride.
If search has no seat for you, tap Need a ride at the bottom of the results. Your request goes to verified taxi captains on that route.
Up to 5 captains can offer a seat. You pick one and the other offers close. You can keep one request open at a time.
After your seat is confirmed, you may see an option to be picked up or dropped within 5 km of the captain’s start or stop. The add-on fare is shown first.
You can request it or choose Not now. The captain accepts or declines. Pick me up is only on taxi rides.
Chat with your captain or co-passengers inside the booking. Phone numbers are shown only after the seat is confirmed. You can report or block anyone from the chat.
If the captain changes the time, we ask you first. You can keep your seat or cancel and look for another ride.
Before the captain accepts, Cancel request closes it at once. After confirmation, Cancel trip asks for a reason and releases the seat. A trip that has started cannot be cancelled.
If the captain does not come, choose Captain is not responding.
The captain marks drop and trip complete. If nobody starts the ride after the departure time, it closes on its own. You can rate the captain and the ride.

In Profile, add your licence and RC from DigiLocker, your car details and 4 car photos.
Our team checks the documents. Your badge shows In review until it says Verified.
Set the places, time, car, seats and the seat price inside the range shown.
Share your live location, check each passenger’s PIN, and mark pickup, drop and trip complete.
Booking, publishing and live tracking happen in the app.
